Wind is scheduled for August 12th with an evening dedicated to the renowned writer's new book, combining gastronomic culture, wellness, and Mediterranean identity, to showcase the values of a land that symbolizes longevity and quality of life.
Cilento is not just a territory to be crossed, but a way of life, and of eating. A philosophy of slow time, seasonality, biodiversity and authentic flavours that for centuries have told of a virtuous balance between man and nature. It is precisely this vision that will be the protagonist of the evening of August 12th at the Poseidonia Beach Club in Marina di Ascea, which will host journalist Luciano Pignataro for the presentation of his new book “La dieta del Cilento”.
An event dedicated to food culture and the Mediterranean way of life, scheduled for 8:30 pm, in one of the most evocative locations on the Cilento coast, where gastronomic storytelling meets the beauty of the sea and the charm of a region recognized worldwide for its natural and cultural heritage.
Through his latest work, the food and wine journalist and writer takes readers on a journey to discover a dietary pattern that goes beyond simple diet: a set of habits, traditions, and values that have made Cilento an international symbol of longevity and well-being. At the heart of the story are local ingredients, peasant cuisine, seasonality, and the culture of conviviality that represents one of the most authentic expressions of Mediterranean identity. For the evening, Grandma Chiara and Grandma Ines will prepare fresh pasta and Cilento specialties.
