The summer at the Poseidonia is an emotion with a thousand shades: white like the beach that covers it, green like the hills that surround it, blue like the sea, purple like the wines that can be tasted and finally yellow-gold like the sun that shines. Our philosophy is to accompany the customer, providing him with impeccable service and letting him discover the most beautiful places of the Cilento, even those less touristy, through a journey that Captain Gianni Rizzo directs for you.

In 2010 The Poseidonia Beach Club was awarded the Oscar for planning by the independent periodical "SPIAGGE D'ITALIA"

In 2014 it obtained the award "Eccellenze Italiane" of the Wellness and Living on the beach

In 2016, the weekly magazine Panorama elected Poseidonia the first Beach Club in Campania

In 2019, Legambiente named Poseidonia one of the four greenest beaches in Campania.

In 2021, ISPRA (Istituto Superiore di Protezione e Ricerca Ambientale) recognized Poseidonia as an Eco-sustainable Beach and signed a memorandum of understanding for the dissemination of the good practices pursued. From June 2023 to June 2025, initiatives will be carried out at Poseidonia to develop and promote respect for the environment by tourists and economic operators.

In 2022, at the Poseidonia Beach Club, the Concessione d’Uso del Marchio della Rete del Gusto del Parco Nazionale del Cilento, Vallo di Diano e Alburni was issued.

In 2024 and 2025 The Poseidonia Beach Club wins I Due Ombrelloni in the Guide to the Best Beach Clubs in Italy.

In 2025, the ISO 20121 certification for the sustainable management of the entire structure will arrive.

In 2025, Audit People awarded Poseidonia the Best Quality and Sustainability Beach Club Italy Award, in recognition of service quality and commitment to sustainability.

In 2026, the Reduced Waste Menu and Circular Kitchen were introduced in reference to ISO 59004.

It offers a modernly equipped beach with state-of-the-art umbrellas and sunbeds. The distance between umbrellas is over 3.5 linear meters. Each umbrella is equipped with a towel rack and a multifunctional side table with storage and drink holders for bar service. The presence of an app with the bar and restaurant menu, together with the availability and courtesy of the beach stewards, ensures maximum relaxation and the opportunity to enjoy drinks and meals directly under your own umbrella.

All precautions are observed to enable the use of the services offered by the establishment to people with disabilities. The facility has suitable restrooms and two jumbo chairs to ensure a comfortable sea bath for people with disabilities. Lifeguard service is guaranteed by the presence of two certified lifeguards. For first aid there is an infirmary service with dedicated staff and an AED defibrillator.

Breakfast

In the morning our breakfast brightens your day with a selection of brioche, croissants and freshly baked graffe. To refresh you: juices, smoothies and tasty fruit platters. Service under the umbrella.

Lunch

At lunch you can enjoy the typical Cilento "fresella" with fresh tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella. Or a "pizza a portafoglio", margherita, cilentana or marinara. For a fresh and tasty lunch: Pokè, a seafood salad, raw fish or a plate of spaghetti with clams.

Aperitif

At sunset Poseidonia offers a panoramic location for engaging aperitifs, between nature and culinary taste. Our café offers cocktails and wines, accompanied by our Mediterranean sushi and by products baked by our pizzeria.
